NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Charter Study Commissioners of the Township of Millburn that: 1. Adoption of Rules. The Commission hereby adopts Robertâs Rules of Order as the parliamentary authority governing the conduct of all meetings of the Commission, except where such rules are inconsistent with applicable New Jersey statutes, municipal law, or specific procedural rules adopted by the Commission. 2. Conflicts of Law. In the event of any conflict between Robertâs Rules of Order and applicable state law, municipal law, or the Commissionâs own adopted procedures, such laws or adopted procedures shall prevail. 3. Effective Date. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
