Skip the Stuff Restaurant Awareness Campaign - Millburn Environmental Commission� Presentation was canceled by the MEC because the law was passed on the final day of the Murphy administration. Formal outreach and education will be provided by the MEC in partnership with EMSH. Law goes into effect on August 1. TREASURERâS REPORT â Steve Grillo 1. Expenses through December 31, 2025 (Attachment 5) Slightly over $29,000 in the bank at the end of the year. Some overruns on minor categories but sponsorship revenue canceled those overruns out 2. 2025 Final Sponsor Income Report (Attachment 6) a. 2025 Sponsor Thank You Dinner - February 9 Closed 2025 with $49,300 from 36 unique sponsors. 99.5% collection rate. Average was $945, lead donors were listed. 34% of all from Downtown, 35% from outer district and 31% from non-SID or outside of Millburn TOWNSHIP COMMITTEE REPORT â Committeeman Ben Stoller 1. SID Review Committee Status 2. Holiday Decor Ad-Hoc Committee Thanked the sponsors and recognized how important sponsor funding is. No update on SID Review Committee. Requested that TC create the ad-hoc committee for holiday decor. BUSINESS ADMINISTRATORâS REPORT â Kristina Sternesky for Alex McDonald 1. No Report Scheduled ATTORNEYâS REPORT â Tom Slattery, Esq. 1. Bear Properties Case Status No report - no updates EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR REPORT â Steve Grillo 1. Promotion & Design a. Recap of âSantaâs Mailboxâ Contest Nearly 200 individual receipts for 36 different stores. Total receipts $45,900. Very successful campaign. Will do a similar campaign for the World Cup b. Upcoming Events Schedule i. Bird Bingo with Cora Hortshorn Arboretum Working with Arboretum on scavenger hunt event with local businesses as a promo in February. Currently working to solicit businesses to participate ii. Super Shopping for Super Bowl Digital Campaign Launching a short social media campaign and email campaign to shop local for food for the game iii. Lunar New Year Participation - Sunday, February 8 Will attend their event and will distribute the EMSH event schedule for the year in both English and Mandarin� 2. Economic Vitality a. New Businesses/Closed Businesses i. Scheier Dental Ribbon Cutting - Wednesday, February 25 at 4PM ii. NJ.com Feature Ice Cream House and Craft & Mill Barberhouse are open. Helped with construction office issues, social media marketing and enrolled Craft & Mill in NJEDA equipment reimbursement program. 9 other businesses are currently under construction. New sponsorship level has been created to enroll non-SID businesses to get 1 year of SID member benefits. Also worked with NJ.com on a multi-article feature on new businesses in town. b. Film Ready NJ Status C. Mahoney is working to enroll the township in the program which helps recruit movie and television filming. The next major step will be an amendment to the current filming ordinance to match state requirements. Currently 43 designated communities. c. Business Awareness Calendar/Concierge Document Released an electronic document for businesses with all major holidays, special food days and local events. Will also work with local anchors on a concierge document to help promote stores and restaurants for visitors. Additional discussion on FIFA World Cup activities and coordinating local businesses (restaurants etc) to host team events 3. Organization a. Main Street NJ/America Site Visit - Wednesday, February 11 b. NJ Center for Womenâs Entrepreneurship Site Visit - Friday, February 13 at 11AM c. 2025 Annual Report Presentation (Attachment 7) GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENTS J. Feld - Resident & Attorney for Bear Properties - Announced that he had a mediation on January 21 "without a mediatorâ in the Bear Properties case. Stated that there was an error with the December minutes which is being corrected at the February meeting. Stated that the Township volunteer form says that SID members are subject to financial disclosure forms. This was corrected subsequent to the meeting. V.
